Resting up. Reading. Library visit.

Tuesday is a rest day.  I use the time to read Break Free: The Ultimate Guide to House Sitting.  I took some notes in a Google Doc and shared it with Kyle.

In the evening I started reading a book called Your First 1000 Copies by Tim Grahl.  I really like him.  Kyle and I have listened to him in a podcast.  The book mentioned and brought back to my attention that a big purpose of a blog is to capture emails.  Emails work better than social media.

I updated most of our bills to be tied to our Wyoming address (we chose to set up our business and home address in Wyoming as there is no state income tax) and choose paperless statements.  I still need to call utility companies and Discover.

We took the dogs  on a walk.  Meals: we have eggs and toast, mac and cheese and nachos.  I have Yogurt and Granola for breakfast and lunch.  For dinner I make a smoothie, I can’t taste anything … I can’t breath.

Wednesday we start off with bagels.  When I talked with Kyle last, he mentioned putting Oregano oil on his feet both morning and night and it helped him.  I did that and put a few drops under my tongue for good measure. I did this several times.

Called Kyle and read scriptures and offered prayer together as a family.  We take the dogs on a walk.

I read some more from 1000 Copies and take notes for Kyle.  My phone drops in the toilet, ugh…into rice it goes.

We go to the Deerfield Library where the kids play with toys and color.  We stay for about two hours.  We come home and Casey eats left over mac & cheese and the boys have sandwiches.

I wash the egg shell pad.  When I come down to take it out of the dryer, it falls apart.  Note to self: you can’t wash these.  I tear off a piece to try to match it.  I look online I see one at JoAnn’s Fabric.  The kids watch some Netficks and I head to JoAnns’s.

Kyle calls and we catch up … phone still not doing well, needs more rice.

JoAnn’s pad is not as nice as the one that was destroyed.  I rush home to buy one on Amazon that will be here by Friday.  I head to the kitchen to make dinner and the boys have already made sandwiches.  I make my self a smoothie.  I cut up and apple for the kids.  I start making granola and notice I can breath a little bit easier.  Maybe the oil under my tongue worked!

We have family prayer and put Lydia to bed.  I play a card game with the boys and then we take the dogs for a walk. I take a shower, when I get out, they boys put themselves to bed on their own.  I put oil on their feet and say individual prayers with them.  I try to read more from the book but can’t consecrate so I browse social media but even that can’t keep my attention.  I go to bed early counting my many blessings.
